Background
Sinus & Snoring Specialist has been serving the Austin, Texas area for over 20 years. They provide comprehensive adult and pediatric Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) services, with specialized treatments for sinus issues, snoring, sleep apnea, and allergies.
Objective
The client sought to develop an application that would allow them to use a small camera inserted into a patient’s nose to stream and record the activity on an iPad and Apple TV. Additionally, they wanted this solution to be productized so it could be sold to other ENT clinics across the United States.
Solution
App Maisters developed a specialized app for iPad and Apple TV that integrates with a GoPro camera, specifically designed for ENT specialists to monitor sinus and other nasal activities. This solution enabled the client to obtain detailed views of patients via a Wi-Fi connection, thereby improving the treatment of sinus allergies and related issues. The app was also productized for sale to other clinics in the US. An Admin Panel was developed to bind devices to specific users, ensuring that the camera devices could only be used by authorized personnel.
