One such initiative is Positive Peers, a mobile and web-based platform designed to support young individuals aged 13–34 who are living with HIV. This platform offers a safe, private, and supportive online community where users can connect with peers, access valuable health information, track their wellness progress, and receive encouragement from both healthcare professionals and fellow members.​

To ensure Positive Peers remains user-friendly, relevant, and effective, MetroHealth continuously invests in its development, enhancement, and maintenance, particularly for individuals participating in clinical trials. Objective

MetroHealth selected App Maisters to develop, enhance, and maintain Positive Peers. The objectives include proactive monitoring, testing, and timely resolution of bugs to maintain high user satisfaction. Additionally, MetroHealth prioritized ongoing maintenance and hosting as essential components of the project to ensure long-term stability and reliability. To enhance engagement, the project incorporates features like badges, celebratory fireworks, and personalized notifications. Accessibility improvements include better colour contrast and the addition of a Spanish-language version to serve a more diverse audience. For clinical trials, real-time dashboards and Google Analytics provide actionable insights. The website will also be improved with routine updates, enhanced mobile responsiveness, and design refinements to align with app features.
