App Maisters, in collaboration with the government, successfully implemented an innovative mobile app solution aimed at modernizing the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) system in Oklahoma’s farmers’ markets. This user-friendly app introduced token-less transactions, making sales more efficient and enhancing convenience for vendors and customers. It provided vendors with valuable sales tracking capabilities and offered real-time reporting for market managers, simplifying operations. This initiative not only increased access to healthy foods for EBT beneficiaries but also boosted the local agricultural economy, leading to positive community engagement and supporting sustainable food systems in the state.
