The Astros Foundation, the official charity of the Houston Astros, partnered with App Maisters to create an engaging sports-themed website for elementary and primary-grade children. The website aimed to inspire a love for reading while fostering healthy competition. It featured a reading tracker, gamification elements, personalized book recommendations, interactive quizzes, and data analytics. The platform successfully enhanced reading engagement, provided valuable insights for educators and parents, fostered a positive reading routine, and gamified learning. It also encouraged peer collaboration, ultimately nurturing a lifelong passion for both sports and learning among young users. This project exemplified the Astros Foundation’s commitment to empowering youth and promoting literacy.
