The client is a prominent organization seeking to revolutionize the resource procurement process for businesses and institutions. They identified inefficiencies, mistakes, and defects in the procurement cycle due to lack of effective statistical analysis and visibility across vendors, buyers, plants, and commodities. To address these issues, the client envisioned a platform that leverages data-driven insights to optimize procurement workflows and improve decision-making.

Objective

App Maisters Inc. has been engaged by a client to design and develop “ScoreUs,” a supply chain responsive web portal aimed at revolutionizing resource procurement for businesses and institutions. By harnessing statistical analysis of data pertaining to vendors, buyers, plants, and commodities, the platform seeks to eliminate mistakes and defects in the procurement process. ScoreUs aspires to become an indispensable tool, driving efficiency, and optimization in resource procurement for its diverse user base.

Solution

The project solution entails developing an inclusive and user-friendly Admin Web Application called “ScoreUs” to help enterprises with resource procurement. The platform supported multiple languages, catering to a wide audience. The web app generated vendor, buyer, plant, and commodity scorecards, providing statistical analysis and color-coded visualizations. Users can map out suppliers geographically and manage entity-specific settings. Instructions and demo pages aided users in navigating the platform effectively. Additionally, the application featured profile management, billing, and essential information pages, ensuring transparency and convenience for users. The project empowered users to make data-driven decisions, optimize resource procurement processes, and enhance overall efficiency.

  • User Authentication: Secure log-in and registration system with email and password, “Remember Me” functionality, and “Forgot Password?” option.
  • Bilingual Support: The web application will support both Chinese and English languages to cater to a diverse user base.
  • Multi-Step Sign-Up Process: User-friendly sign-up process with two steps, gathering user information and offering subscription plans for trial or paid usage.
  • Vendor, Buyer, Plant, and Commodity Scorecards: Comprehensive scorecards and data analytics for vendors, buyers, plants, and commodities based on various parameters like On-Time Delivery, Non-Conformance Reports, Price Variance, and Lead Time Accuracy.
  • Data Visualization: Color-coded graphs and pie charts representing performance levels of entities for easy data interpretation.
  • Map Out Supplier: Geographical representation of vendor, buyer, plant, and commodity performance, providing a visual overview of entities’ performance in different regions.
  • Customizable Entities: Ability to manage and customize entities such as Plants, Commodities, Buyers, and Vendors with specific parameters and weights impacting the overall system.
  • Instructions and Demo Pages: Guidance on using the application effectively, accompanied by a demo page for users to interact with sample raw data.
  • Profile Management: Users can view and edit their account details, change passwords, and manage settings.
  • Billing and Subscription: Transparent billing section displaying subscription plans, allowing users to manage their subscriptions and participate in a referral program.
  • Essential Information Pages: Pages providing information about the application, contact details, terms and conditions, and privacy policy for transparency and clarity.
